Workshop of Johann Heinrich I Tischbein (1722–1789), ‘Portrait of a Lady’, oil on canvas. 18th century. Portrait of a young lady, oil on canvas. Marked ‘J. Tischbein’ on the stretcher on the reverse. At the bottom of the reverse side, a vellum document reads “Collection Cumberbach”. (98 x 82 cm) (63 x 77 x 0 cm) Condition report: Overall, the painting is in good, hangable condition. The canvas is mounted nicely under tension and appears to be stable. Under UV light, various restorations are visible.
