Patinated metal.
Robust, explosion-proof ("Ex-geschützte") luminaire for heavy industry, mining, chemical plants, and military bunkers.
Probably produced by VEB Leuchtenbau Wittenberg/Narva or VEB EOW (Elektroinstallation Oberweimar).
