Description
DADJA DE MORICERIE FRENCH SADDLE HORSE – Gelding – Dark bay Born on 28 March 2013 By ARKO (OLD) and HADJA DE MORICERIE, by CHYLAN. To watch a video of Dadja: https://youtu.be/8t9NvtE2zrM Pedigree DADJA DE MORICERIE comes from a sport-oriented bloodline. His sire, ARKO, an Oldenburg stallion, has made his mark on show jumping breeding at the highest international level. His dam, HADJA DE MORICERIE, a Selle Français Section A mare, passes on renowned French bloodlines. This pedigree gives him a particularly attractive lineage. Conformation He is a gelding with: a harmonious and well-proportioned conformation; an expressive head with a fine blaze; a well-defined neck; correct shoulders; a balanced topline; well-developed hindquarters; even musculature; slender limbs with good bone structure. The horse is in excellent overall condition, has a glossy coat and is in very good physical shape for his age. Administrative and sporting status The horse is registered in the Selle Français Stud Book under number SIRE 13 394 646 B. The file also contains an international FEI passport attesting to sporting activity that has enabled the horse to take part in international competitions. Numerous FEI stamps appear in the identification document. Veterinary information Recent biological status The blood tests carried out on 20 March 2026 are generally reassuring. The complete blood count is within normal limits and the biochemistry shows no significant abnormalities likely to compromise the horse’s general condition. Compared with the tests carried out in 2023, certain haematological values that were previously low now appear to have normalised. Musculoskeletal history The veterinary records mention one significant episode: ‘Severe tendinitis of the superficial flexor tendon of the right front digit, occurring in October 2025’. The ultrasound scan carried out in January 2026 reported: ‘a hypoechoic area proximally and laterally, indicating an area undergoing healing’. The vet notes, however: “The sporting prognosis remains good at this stage, given the very favourable course of the condition”. It is nevertheless specified that: “The main risk to date remains a recurrence of tendinitis or a worsening of the condition during very intense exercise”. Last check-up mentioned in the file: 26 January 2026. A comprehensive radiographic assessment comprising 26 images was carried out on 12 June 2026 by SELARL Cheval d’Azur Vétérinaires. The report identifies DADJA DE MORICERIE under reference number 13394646B and describes, amongst the main points of interest, a thin sole, moderate to marked arthropathy of the distal interphalangeal joint with associated inflammation, mild arthropathy of the front fetlocks, mild arthropathy of the hocks — mild to moderate on the right, more severe on the left — as well as mild arthropathy of the hocks. [Veterinary report dated 12 June 2026, p. 1, lines 22–38; p. 2, lines 106–113] The report also mentions, in the thoracic and lumbar spine, smooth bony growths opposite two thoracic spinous processes, described as inter-spinous enthesopathy, with no conflict between the spinous processes. The practitioner specifies that all these radiographic findings must be considered in conjunction with the clinical examination and the horse’s activity. In light of the available documentation, DADJA DE MORICERIE has a comprehensive file combining a sporting pedigree, administrative traceability, documented international competition history and recent veterinary imaging. Bidders are invited to review the full file, in particular the laboratory tests, musculoskeletal history and the radiographic assessment dated 12 June 2026, comprising 26 images, which are made available for information purposes.
