Description
CONFIDENCE KALONE FRENCH SADDLE HORSE – Mare – Grey Born on 30 June 2012 By KANNAN (NL) and JALNA DE PRESLE, by RYON D'ANZEX AA. Watch a video of Confidence: https://youtu.be/OWgkLI-rGXs Pedigree Descended from one of Europe’s greatest show jumping sires, KANNAN, CONFIDENCE KALONE benefits from a solid and proven Selle Français maternal line. Her pedigree combines KANNAN’s strong genetic influence with a sport-oriented maternal line, giving her particularly sought-after genetics. Conformation A mare with a feminine, harmonious and well-preserved sport conformation. She offers: an expressive and distinguished head; a long, well-set neck; correctly angulated shoulders; good chest depth; a straight back; a balanced topline; powerful hindquarters; sufficient and regular bone structure. She is an elegant grey mare, in excellent condition and presentation. Despite her age, she retains an athletic build and a commanding presence. History Mare registered with the Selle Français Stud Book. She also holds an international FEI passport, attesting to a previous sporting career and registration on the competition circuit. Veterinary Information Veterinary records available for inspection. The examination and treatment report dated 12 June 2026, included in the file, mentions a comprehensive radiographic assessment comprising 27 X-rays. The radiographic findings on the day indicate mild interphalangeal lesions in the forelimbs, mild arthropathy of the fetlocks, moderate arthropathy of the hocks, mild arthropathy of the right stifle, as well as convergence and remodelling of the spinous processes beneath the saddle, with no current impingement. The most recent supplementary findings also report back pain that has responded favourably to paravertebral injections, a satisfactory clinical course, a favourable sporting prognosis provided that adequate dorsal musculature is maintained, the presence of melanomas, particularly in the perineal region, a general examination within normal limits with no lameness observed, and blood tests showing no major abnormalities apart from a mild, isolated thrombocytopenia. Melanomas are described as common in grey horses, particularly in older animals; these factors must, of course, be assessed by any prospective buyer in consultation with their veterinary adviser. The available blood test results do not reveal any major abnormalities, apart from a slight, isolated thrombocytopenia with no obvious clinical significance in the context provided. An experienced mare, well-bred, with a known pedigree and a transparent record, to be considered for a serious purchase where quality of breeding, pedigree value and a clear pedigree record are paramount.
