Fabien Lecœuvre, a journalist, author and renowned expert on French chanson, is joining MILLON to put his expertise and in-depth knowledge of musical heritage to good use in a new series dedicated to artists’ memorabilia, archives and artefacts linked to the great figures of the entertainment world. This new collaboration will take shape from 19 September 2026 with an inaugural
auction dedicated to French and international songs, a major event to mark the start of the new season.
International icons take centre stage
Conceived as a journey through several decades of musical creativity, this auction will bring together rare items linked to the great figures of the international scene. Among the star lots, a black promotional leather jacket signed by all five members of the Rolling Stones (€12,000–14,000) stands out as one of the sale’s major highlights. Produced in 1989 for the Steel Wheels tour, this prototype – of which only three known examples exist – is a true relic for collectors of rock memorabilia.
Another iconic item is a platinum disc awarded to Tina Turner for the album *Private Dancer* (€12,000–14,000), which was kept at the artist’s home and later passed on to her son Ronnie Turner. The international scene will also be represented by a double diamond disc awarded to Pink Floyd for *The Division Bell*
(€1,000/€1,200).
French chanson: manuscripts, artefacts and artists’ mementoes
French chanson will take centre stage in this selection with an original manuscript by Serge Gainsbourg for *On aurait jamais dû quitter la Nouvelle-Orléans* (€6,000–7,000), a song written for the *Sacha Show* in 1965.
Fans of Johnny Hallyday will discover an original bronze cast of his face, created in 1982 by the sculptor Bruno Dubois for a monumental project linked to the concerts at the Palais des Sports (€6,000–7,000). Entitled *The Survivor 82*, this museum-quality piece bears witness to a spectacular project that was ultimately abandoned.
The sale will also include a lock of Claude François’s hair, given to a fan in 1969 (€700–800), a silver disc by Alizée for ‘Gourmandises’ (€700–800), as well as a woollen jacket worn by Mike Brant between 1974 and 1975 (€5,000–6,000).
