Description
1972 De Tomaso Pantera Push Button French classic car registration document Chassis No.: THPNLL01056 5-speed manual gearbox Mileage: 20,091 (not guaranteed) Passed MOT First unveiled to the public in 1970, the De Tomaso Pantera represents an exceptional fusion of Italian design expertise and American mechanical power. It is the quintessential example of 1970s supercars and remains, even today, the most enjoyable to drive. The brainchild of Alejandro De Tomaso, it combines a sporty chassis with a Ford V8 Cleveland engine, offering a rare blend of performance, character and reliability. The Pantera remains a highly sought-after car, with this ‘Push Button’ version corresponding to the earliest production runs. This Pantera has undergone a complete restoration by L’Atelier Classique in Beaune, fully documented in three binders detailing the various stages of the work carried out. Every step of the restoration was carefully monitored to preserve the spirit and original characteristics of this Italian sports car. The mechanical components have also undergone a complete restoration, with the engine block replaced by a 351 Cleveland with four crankshaft bolts, in accordance with the original specifications. The stainless steel exhaust system has also been replaced in keeping with the original configuration. Both the upholstery and the interior are in remarkable condition. Now presented in exceptional condition, this De Tomaso Pantera offers a rare experience: that of a genuine 1970s supercar, combining the charm of Italian design, the sound of an American V8 and a powertrain designed for driving pleasure. Purchasing this model means reliving what the first owner experienced on 15 May 1972 as he drove away from the Ford dealership. Mechanical report: Please note that a detailed condition report has been carried out by a professional and is available on request. Private viewings can be arranged for customers who wish to see the car. Information regarding each vehicle is provided to us by the sellers, and we verify its accuracy. Logistical and administrative support is provided.
