Description
Bob Wollek’s 1963 Jaguar MK II 3.4 L French vehicle registration document Identification number: Chassis No. 178680DN 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive Mileage: 80,917 km (not guaranteed) Vehicle inspection not valid From the private collection of Dr Phillipe Henon Unveiled in 1959, the Jaguar Mk II remains one of the most iconic sports saloons in British motoring history. In its 3.4-litre version, fitted with the famous XK six-cylinder engine producing 210 ch SAE, it offers a remarkable balance between performance, comfort and elegance. Fast, refined and perfectly suited to long journeys, it remains one of the most sought-after classic Jaguars today. The car on offer has a particularly interesting provenance, having belonged to Bob Wollek, an iconic figure in French endurance racing, an official Porsche driver and a Jaguar dealer in Strasbourg. Whilst in his ownership, the car underwent a complete restoration, including the bodywork, paintwork, interior and mechanical components. The engine, in particular, was entrusted to Peter Heath, a renowned British specialist in Jaguar XK engines. Following Bob Wollek’s death in 2001, it was purchased by Jean-Jacques Strub before passing into the collection of Dr Philippe Henon. With a well-documented history, a high-quality restoration and an attractive provenance, this 3.4-litre Jaguar Mk II represents an excellent opportunity to acquire one of the most elegant and desirable sports saloons of the 1960s. We would like to point out that we are presenting this Jaguar with an expired MOT, the sole reason being that the front tyres need replacing. Mechanical report: Please note that a detailed condition report has been drawn up by a professional and is available on request. Private viewings can be arranged for customers who wish to see the car. Information regarding each vehicle is provided to us by the sellers, and we verify its accuracy. Logistical and administrative support is provided.
