The tough and economical 125cc popular model of the 1940s and 1950s. - This bike was distributed by both Motobécane and Motoconfort under two different names (D45 - C45) and was a huge success in its day. - Its main advantage was its low fuel consumption. This small 125 cm3 engine consumed less than 3 litres per 100 kilometres thanks to its highly economical 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with side valves. - Although it had three hand-operated gears, it also had a clutch pedal, allowing young drivers to change gear with their left hand. - In 1949, the new D45S and C45S were fitted with sliding rear suspension and telescopic forks. - The model illustrated here is partly dismantled and has lost its wheels and a few other components over the years. It needs to be completed and restored. A 175cc engine is included. - This motorbike, distributed by both Motobécane and Motoconfort under two different names (D45 - C45), enjoyed tremendous success in its time. - It particularly stood out for its low fuel consumption.
