Second hand, 6 000km!
Second hand, 6 000km!
- At the 1989 Geneva Motor Show, Alfa Romeo presented its latest model, the 3000 SZ. The beast was designed by Zagato and surprised with its brutal styling and rarity. Powered by the 210 bhp 3-litre Busso V6 taken from the 75 America, it reached a top speed of 250 km/h. Its balance (56/44), 1.4 G grip and composite body make it an icon. "Only 1,036 of the coupé version of Il Mostro were produced.
- Our example, number 125, was delivered new in July 1990 to Garage St Christophe, which was then run by Bertrand Balas, who at the time was driving an Alfa Romeo rally car! The driver kept the car until recently, when it went to the garage of a major collector in the Paris region.
- Today, the car has covered just over 6,000 km, and is as beautiful as it was on its first day. The bodywork is perfect, and the paintwork is still original (measurements available on request). The interior is also close to new: the upholstery is free of any noticeable defects, and the rest of the components show only a very reasonable number of faults for its age.
- After being out of action for a few years, the mechanics were rebuilt by Atelier 46 in Courbevoie. On the menu: oil change, filters, belts, bleeding of the suspension system... So the car is ready to hit the road! Of course, the car is accompanied by its service booklet (blank, as the car has virtually never been sold), its booklets, its repair manual and its cover.
- A true UFO on the road, the SZ is a rarity that is becoming a must-have for the greatest collectors. Our example benefits from crystal-clear traceability and low mileage... Enthusiasts, this is an object to buy as a matter of urgency, and to enter in the next Vendôme 80!
