- An icon of the 60s, the Renault 8 Gordini embodied the popular French sporting spirit. Agile, responsive and accessible, it inspired a whole generation with its rallying prowess and bomb-like temperament.
- Our R8 Gordini type R1135 was registered on 21 May 1968 in the department of Nord, and still bears its original registration number 1038 EK 1959. Purchased in 1969 by its current owner, he modified it to Group 2 specifications in order to compete in rallies. He took part in 14 events at the wheel of the car between 1970 and 1973. Replaced by an Alpine A 110 1600 S, he parted with it before buying it back in 1978, overcome by remorse, and it has remained in his collection ever since.
- Today, the car is in generally good condition, having been restored in the early 2010s. The bodywork has been repainted, and the engine and gearbox have been restored. 5,000 km have been covered since then.
- Mechanically, it has a 1296 piston sleeve kit, a cylinder head with large valves, a Ferry camshaft and crankcase, a hydraulic clutch and a Group 2 front crossmember.
- The cabin retains its original dashboard, with 2 period bucket seats and a 4-point roll bar. Our R8 Gordini is accompanied by a host of photos from its racing days in the early 1970s - an opportunity not to be missed!

Our R8 Gordini type R1135 was registered on 21 May 1968 in the Nord department, and still bears its original registration number 1038 EK 1959. Purchased in 1969 by its current owner, he modified it to Group 2 specifications in order to compete in rallies. He competed in 14 events at the wheel of it between 1970 and 1973. Replaced by an Alpine A 110 1600 S, he sold it before buying it back in 1978, overcome with remorse, and it has been part of his collection ever since.
Today, the car is in good overall condition. It underwent restoration in the early 2010s, during which its bodywork was repainted and its engine and gearbox were restored. It has since covered approximately 5,000 km.
