3-litre 6-cylinder engine, 4-seater convertible and signed body: don't hesitate!
3-litre 6-cylinder engine, 4-seater convertible and designer bodywork: don't hesitate!
- Delage is undoubtedly one of the great marques of French and world motoring history. World champion in 1923, the Parisian marque came through the 1930s with the same success - and the same setbacks - as its near namesake, Delahaye.
- Like Delahaye, its production offered the enlightened enthusiast a touring car that inherited the prestige of the marque as much as the genes of competition. The D6-11, with its in-line 6-cylinder engine, followed in 1932.
- In 1935, it was replaced by the highly successful D6-70, now with a 3-litre engine. In the meantime, the company had joined forces with Delahaye, sharing production resources.
- This D6-70, fitted with 3 Solex 40 PAI carburettors like the Delahayes, was partially dismantled and stripped for a restoration that never came to fruition. Overall, it appears to be complete, with its box headlights, bumpers and fittings.

Its ball-shaped rather than flat radiator grille seems to date the car from the immediate pre-war period. This is an opportunity to acquire an emblematic 6-cylinder 3-litre cabriolet, signed, for the price of a Citroën Traction 15-Six saloon...

- Delage, faithful to the tradition of custom-built chassis, had this model fitted with an elegant 4-seater convertible body by Letourneur & Marchand.
