- The Jaguar XK 120, presented in 1948, promised a top speed of 120 mph and was carved by the wind, a veritable rolling sculpture. It was launched on the market in 1950, and in 1951 a more powerful version called SE (Special Equipment) was produced: the engine developed 180 bhp thanks to a different camshaft and a number of mechanical improvements.
- This Jaguar XK 120 was put on the road in 1953, as the Jaguar Heritage Trust tells us, and was sold new to Jerry Rigden by the distributor Hoffman in Miami.
