- Introduced in 1970, the Ford Capri 2600 RS was powered by a 2.6-litre V6 with mechanical fuel injection and 150 bhp. Weighing in at just 1,080 kg, with strengthened suspension, corrected running gear and an optional self-locking axle, its performance was resolutely sporty.
- Competitive success was not long in coming, and the Capri 2600 RS went on to forge its legend at the highest level. It won the European Touring Car Championship in 1971 and 1972.
- Originally from France, our car entered its owner's collection in 1989, and has now clocked up 79,300 km. Originally a Sebring Red, its bodywork was repainted after its purchase. Today, the car looks as good as new, but there are traces of corrosion in places.
