Description
1999 - PEUGEOT 206 WRC "SHOW CAR Vehicle sold without registration title No registration title Vehicle sold without Technical Inspection Sold without Contrôle Technique "The ultimate look for this show car! " "The ultimate look for this show car!" - The 206 WRC left the Vélizy workshops in 1999 and made its competition debut at the Tour of Corsica. It was powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine developing 300 bhp, combined with a 6-speed sequential gearbox and all-wheel drive. - The example we are presenting is a show car fitted with an engine. Made from genuine Peugeot Sport parts, it was used by the manufacturer at various events to promote the 206 WRC. - Franck Galiegue acquired the car in 2020 at an Aguttes sale from the Peugeot museum in Sochaux. After several years on display in his personal museum, Galiegue recently embarked on an extraordinary journey with the 206 Adventure rally, driving it to Morocco. The car only had a few dozen original kilometres! - Before that, a number of modifications had to be made, including changing the running gear and raising the ground clearance. It finished the Raid with flying colours, and a number of videos can be viewed on our collector friend's channel. - With its devastating looks, it's sure to add a touch of sportiness to your garage or showroom. - The 206 WRC rolled out of the Vélizy workshops in 1999 and made its competitive debut at the Tour de Corse.
