"Very attractive estimate
In 1967, Porsche presented the first improvement on the - at the time new - Porsche 911. The newborn car was named the 911 S, and incorporated a number of mechanical optimisations that gave it a slight increase in performance. However, the 'basic' 911 remained in the catalogue for some time to come...
Our car is therefore one of the last examples of the 911 in its first '2.0 SWB' version. According to its Porsche certificate, it was put on the road in February 1967 in Portugal, painted Ivory 6604 with black interior and a number of interesting options, including seat belts, tinted windows and Koni sports shock absorbers.
This example will spend the rest of its life in Portugal, before a complete restoration starting in 2018. Nothing was left to chance: this exceptional work was carried out starting with a complete stripping down of the bodywork for a 'rotisserie' restoration.
Today, the car is in absolutely superb condition, and in the correct vintage colour of Bahamas Yellow. Mechanically, beyond its matching numbers status, the car is in excellent condition and runs perfectly!
This is a very interesting 911 for enthusiasts in search of a rare, historic car, and above all, one that is in perfect condition and has undergone a top-flight restoration!
