- Ordered new by the management of Mercedes-Benz AG, this 500 SL is distinguished by a particularly rare configuration combining Anthracite Metallic bodywork with an exceptional full interior in Pine Green, including matching upholstery, dashboard, door jambs and carpets.
- Produced in 1990, it belongs to the first series of the R129, powered by the remarkable 326bhp M119 V8. This generation, without the pilot-controlled suspension that came later, is now considered by many enthusiasts to be the most accomplished and reliable.
- Purchased by its current owner in December 2021, more than €22,000 worth of work has been carried out over the last few years to ensure that the car remains in pristine condition. It has always been carefully maintained, as can be seen from the many invoices attached to the file. Always carried out within the Mercedes-Benz network and by a reputed specialist in the model, the mechanical overhauls have focused on the engine, the refurbishment of the fuel and supply systems, the brakes, the replacement of the tyres, followed by the complete overhaul of all the soft-top cylinders and, more recently, the replacement of the radiator is among the main work carried out.
