Description
1971 - Fiat Dino 2400 Chassis no. 135BC0005080 French registration An extraordinary V6 at an attractive price! Commissioned by Bertone, the legendary stylists Giugiaro and Gandini worked on the design of the Fiat coupe, which was hailed by the critics when it was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. It was a modern car with a 5-speed gearbox, limited slip differential and four-wheel disc brakes. The Fiat 2400 shown here was launched in Italy on 16 December 1971 and is red in colour, with black upholstery inside. Imported into France in 1991, it had only one owner for 20 years, until 2011. A collector bought it and kept it for 4 years, before selling it to the current owner. At the time, the odometer showed around 59,000 km. There is every reason to believe that this mileage is original, and the Histovec report points in that direction. Numerous service invoices can be seen in the file, but the most recent was a major overhaul that included changing the alternator, brake master cylinder and water pump. Our test drive on the secondary roads confirmed the car's good mechanical condition. The engine picks up the revs with gusto and the chassis is sound on the road. With an attractive price tag, this Fiat is worth rediscovering.
