"Good condition, same owner from 1992 to 2026".
The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was presented at the 1965 London Motor Show after ten years of design and development. Its production marked a historic revolution for the British marque.
The new production saloon retained the engine and Hydramatic gearbox of the latest Silver Clouds, but now featured a monocoque body with rear suspension and coil springs, and was now equipped with power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes.
In another revolution, the Silver Shadow was designed to be driven by its owner rather than by a chauffeur. It was an unpredictable commercial success until 1976, with almost 20,000 units sold in all versions.
Our example was delivered new in right-hand drive in a rare and interesting colour combination. In 1992, it entered the garage of a major collector in the Paris region, having been meticulously maintained for the most part by ODS. Today, it is in very good condition, and runs perfectly: the prerogative of regularly used cars!
Silver Shadows in good working order and condition are rare on the market. Here is a fine example, sure to please the most demanding collectors!
