Description
1994 - Renault Safrane Biturbo Chassis no. VF1B5450811906297 French registration "This legendary Birtubo, with less than 125,000 km on the clock, has a long and uninterrupted history: a rare opportunity! "The Safrane appeared on the market in 1992 as a replacement for the Renault 25, and had the tough task of taking over the top of the range from the Renault marque. To fuel its ambition to compete with the German elite in this segment, Renault decided to offer an even more exclusive version of its saloon, with the Biturbo version, equipped with all-wheel drive, available from 1993. Under the bonnet was the faithful PRV V6, to which were added 2 KKK turbos, each blowing at 0.5 bar. The result is a bourgeois saloon with perfect comfort, firmly rooted to the road and powered by a smooth yet powerful 268bhp engine. It would go on to win the honorary title of being the most expensive, most powerful, but also the most confidential, mass-market Renault of the brand, with only 806 examples produced! The example we are offering was sold new in July 1994 by the Renault dealership in Hénin-Beaumont (62). Although its logbook is not stamped, it is nevertheless accompanied by a handwritten logbook detailing a meticulous follow-up from July 1995, at 10,100 km, to 2020, at 119,817 km. Its current owner acquired it in 2023, and had a complete paint job carried out to refine its incredible original condition. Despite a few scratches, we challenge you to find a Biturbo in such condition and with such low mileage. Fans of the genre, don't let this opportunity pass you by!
