"A very interesting colour combination
The Citroën ID 19, launched in 1957, was the more accessible version of the DS. It retained its avant-garde styling and its famous comfort thanks to hydropneumatic suspension, but with simplified mechanics and less luxurious equipment in order to reduce its price.
Equipped with a 1.9-litre engine derived from the Traction Avant, it quickly won over families and professionals alike. Regularly improved throughout the 1960s, it became one of Citroën's great successes before being replaced in the mid-1970s by the CX.
The car on display has the advantage of a very nice colour combination! The overall condition is good: the paintwork is fine (apart from a tint defect on one door), the upholstery is of good quality, and the underpinnings are sound (please note a repair to the chassis, photo on request).
Work has recently been carried out on the hydraulic system to improve its watertightness. Otherwise, this ID 19 runs well and is used regularly.
