The Ford estate presented in these pages is a Country Squire, a model derived from the Crown Victoria, which was very popular in the USA. The engine is a 460 ci with 200 bhp.
It dates from July 1976. It was purchased in Mexico by the current collector and arrived in France in May 2018.
It was in good original condition and since joining the collection has been regularly serviced by garages specialising in classic cars.
In 2018, a floor was replaced, then the brakes were restored. More recently, the radiator and starter were replaced and the sides were given a new vinyl sticker.
Today, our car is in its original condition, drives very well but could do with some cosmetic attention.
