In 1965, Lancia unveiled the Fulvia Coupé, designed by Piero Castagnero, who drew inspiration from Riva boats. Its elegant, simple and refined lines, full of finesse with a large glass area, instantly became a style icon. Launched in 1973, the Fulvia 3 was the ultimate evolution of the coupé. With its modernised styling (matt black grille and white-faced dials), the Fulvia 3 Coupé continued the legend of the lightweight sports car. World Rally Champion (1972) and winner of the 1972 Monte Carlo Rally ahead of the Alpine A110s, it left a lasting impression. A mechanical masterpiece, this front-wheel-drive car offers agile handling with balanced dynamics.
Ivoire Troyes is delighted to present this 1974 Lancia Fulvia 3 Coupé. Owned by its current owner since 2023, this Fulvia has undergone a complete restoration, both cosmetically and mechanically. It is now in very good overall condition. The orange livery with a contrasting matt black bonnet is reminiscent of the Fulvia HF and its many rallying successes. Apart from a few paint runs near the fuel filler flap, which could be sanded down, the paintwork and bodywork are in very good condition, as are the refurbished alloy wheels.
The interior, with its extremely comfortable, recently fitted bucket seats, is beautifully presented, featuring a wooden steering wheel rim and dashboard. Mechanically, the car has undergone an exemplary restoration, utilising numerous new parts. The fact that it starts at the first turn of the key suggests that it should run excellently and deliver the driving experience typical of the great Lancias.
With its four disc brakes, five-speed manual gearbox, light and airy interior and spacious boot, the Fulvia is an easy-to-live-with classic car. This example, in fine condition and having benefited from substantial investment in its mechanical components, is extremely appealing. Capable of delivering as much driving pleasure as more prestigious and expensive cars, this Fulvia 3 is a classic sports car that remains affordable and is aimed at the discerning enthusiast.
