SUPERIA, JET model. Moped, petrol. Two-tone blue and cream bodywork. High-quality restoration. French registration document in order (reissued, hence first registration on 16 May 2019). Circa 1960. The odometer reads 17,267 km (not guaranteed). Needs starting up. The Superia brand was created following a bitter dispute (December 1956) between the Claeys brothers, who had led Flandria Superia to great success. Aimé Claeys continued the bicycle and motorbike business under the name Flandria, whilst Rémi created the Superia brand for his mopeds. No longer having a motorbike division, he fitted his two-wheelers with Sachs and Victoria engines. The two brothers produced similar models under their respective brands, which explains why the Superia Jet and the Flandria King and Consul are so similar...
