Description
JAWA, MUSTANG model, type 23 M. Moped (50 cm³ engine), petrol. Olive-green bodywork with black frame. In very good original condition. French registration document in order. First registered on 1 January 1976. The odometer reads 73 km (not guaranteed). Engine number 1314854 – frame number 60 181. Comes with its hand pump. Needs starting up. Our model, which has never been sold, is one of the few examples currently recorded in France. A minor restoration would, in particular, restore the chrome to its former glory. The Jawa Mustang, manufactured in Czechoslovakia from 1970 onwards, takes its design (and even its name) from the famous Ital-Jet, which first appeared in 1965. The Jawa has a much more utilitarian design, with raised handlebars, a two-seater seat and wider tyres. Its horizontal engine, with its distinctive finning, is what gives it its unique character.
