FLANDRIA, RECORD SUPER model. Moped (50 cm³ engine), petrol. Yellow bodywork with black frame. In very good condition. French registration document in order. First registered on 1 January 1968. The odometer reads 15,377 km (not guaranteed). Frame number 58809. Needs starting up. Windscreen may have been replaced – a bit of restoration would, in particular, restore the chrome to its former glory. The flagship of the Flandria range during the 1960s, the Record has evolved considerably since its launch in France in the autumn of 1962. The fuel tank, which was too boxy, was replaced by an elongated Tebaldi tank, followed by a much shorter seat in keeping with the model’s sporty character. The ‘Super’ designation indicates that the Record was fitted with a 5-chevaux aluminium-cylinder engine from the Concorde.
