1960 – Porsche 356 B 1600 S 75 Cabriolet Chassis no. 154368 French vehicle registration document “An interesting Super 75 version!”   In September 1959, Porsche unveiled the first major update to its first model: the 356 B. Now featuring a single-piece curved windscreen and 15-inch wheels, the styling was also revised.     Its engine was also modified to a displacement of 1,600 cm³ and was available in three different power outputs. The pinnacle of the B series was reached with the Carrera and its twin camshafts.   Our example was delivered on 23 November 1960 in Switzerland in the colour scheme it still bears today: ruby red, ivory soft top (now black), and light brown imitation leather and fabric upholstery.   Fully restored before being purchased by the current owner, the car is now in good overall condition. The restoration has aged, but the finish remains of good quality. Our test drive also confirmed that it is in very good working order, as the current owner takes care to drive it regularly. Offered at an attractive estimate, this beautiful 356 Cabriolet in its rare B Super 75 version is sure to delight any lover of fine Porsches!
