Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1948, the Peugeot 203 marked the brand’s revival in the aftermath of the war. As the first Peugeot to be mass-produced with a monocoque body, it enjoyed a long production run until 1960. The 203 C version, which appeared in the mid-1950s, benefited in particular from improvements to the drivetrain and represents one of the most accomplished iterations of the saloon. The 1957 models are all 4-cylinder versions, and the sunroof is a particularly sought-after feature on this model.
Visible wear, dirt, scratches and signs of oxidation. Damage and signs of wear to the paintwork, chrome and trim. The condition of the tyres, seals, mechanical and electrical components, the braking system and safety features must be checked.
The vehicle has been off the road for a long period and has not been roadworthy-made by the auction house. Mechanical condition and operation have not been checked. The operation of the engine, gearbox, electrical, fuel and cooling systems, as well as the braking system, is not guaranteed. A full service and recommissioning must be carried out before any use.
