Description
1974 PORSCHE 2.7 TARGA French registration document Chassis number: 9115110054 French origin — three previous owners Targa body with removable roof Colour: Cometmetallic 406 For the 1974 model year, the Porsche 911 adopted bellows-style bumpers to meet US market requirements and made the 2.7-litre engine standard across the range. The Targa version retains its distinctive brushed steel roll bar and removable roof, combining the pleasure of open-top driving with the character of the rear-mounted flat-six engine. Delivered new in France on 8 July 1974, this 911 2.7 Targa had three previous owners before its current owner. It is distinguished by its Cometmetallic paintwork, code 406, as documented in its Porsche certificate. The original engine has been replaced by a 2.7-litre S engine rated at 175 ch, providing additional power compared to the original unit. The engine and gearbox are described as being in very good working order. Recent work has been carried out, although no supporting invoices are available: servicing of the K-Jetronic fuel injection system and replacement of the fuel tank, clutch, alternator and chain tensioners.
