Description
Bolinder Munktell – Type 400 – Year 1965 No. 22320 Vehicle registration document Roadworthy - sold as seen History Bolinder Munktell, a Swedish company, has been manufacturing tractors, combine harvesters and forestry machinery since 1932. In the 1950s, it merged with Volvo, which strengthened the group’s economic power through the widespread distribution of its machinery around the world. From the early 1950s onwards, diesel tractors became commonplace within the brand, which was certainly of interest; as the brand’s legendary robustness quickly became known around the world; in France, it emerged that in 1951, 710 of the country’s 125,000 tractors were sold. One of the flagship models was the 350, a modernised version of the 20 and 30 series, featuring a power lift and, above all, 56 chevaux. Modernisation was needed, and new models had to be introduced; the subsequent 400/600/800 series were among them. Condition This 400 is fitted with a manually tilting mower-loader. Despite its age, it looks good and is in working order; the whole machine will need a service, and two front tyres will need to be replaced. It has just over 7,000 hours on the clock.
