RENAULT FLORIDE R 1092 - Type: Passenger car - Body style: CI - Colour: WHITE - Odometer reading: 8,664 - First registration: 23/05/1961 - Power: 5 - Notes: In the late 1950s, Renault sought to expand its market in the United States. At a meeting in Florida, Renault USA dealers called for a roadster coupé to appeal to a younger female clientele. The Renault Floride was thus designed and unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September 1958, then at the New York Motor Show in 1959 under the name ‘Caravelle’. The model we are offering dates from 1961; it has not been driven for decades and is in a condition requiring a full restoration. Registration certificate in the new format.
