1956 VAUXHALL CRESTA – History: Unveiled in the autumn of 1954, the Vauxhall EIP Cresta was the flagship model of the British marque Vauxhall Motors, a subsidiary of General Motors. Produced until 1957, it stood out for its design, heavily inspired by the American style of the time, featuring an abundance of chrome, extensive glazing and a particularly refined finish. Powered by a 2,262 cm³ inline six-cylinder engine producing around 82 chevaux, the Cresta offered an excellent balance between performance, comfort and reliability.
