From 2.00 pm: 1965 FORD MUSTANG V8 Fastback, manual gearbox, with 24,060 miles on the clock. In its FASTBACK version, this 1965 model is the original that inspired Carroll SHELBY to create his GT350. The car on display is in very good overall condition, with its metallic blue bodywork set off by magnificent chrome trim and 15-inch SHELBY wheels fitted with Michelin tyres. The black imitation leather interior has a well-worn look and is in good condition, featuring excellent equipment: a Rally-Pac with rev counter and clock, a wooden steering wheel and a digital radio – all fully functional. The 225Cv V8 engine runs very smoothly and has a powerful sound thanks to its twin exhaust system; it is mated to a 4-speed FORD manual gearbox.
