Model history First introduced in the early 1960s, the Porsche 911 laid the foundations for an architecture that has since become iconic: a 2+2 body, a rear-mounted air-cooled flat-six engine and rear-wheel drive. The 911 T was then the entry-level model in the 911 range. For the 1972 model year, Porsche increased the flat-six’s displacement to 2,341 cm³, commonly referred to as the ‘2.4’. According to European specifications, the 911 T 2.4 produced 130 ch. This development was part of the gradual increase in engine capacity of the early 911s, which rose from 2 litres to 2.2 litres and then to 2.4 litres. It is notably fitted with: - Fuchs-style wheels; - sports seats; - external bonnet fasteners; - carburettors with individual air filters; - manual gearbox. Maintenance and work The vehicle comes with a comprehensive file of invoices from the specialist Porsche Flat 69, documenting over €23,000 (including VAT) worth of work carried out between 2022 and 2025. In December 2022, an invoice for €5,859 (including VAT) documents, amongst other things, engine tuning and ignition testing, a check of the fuel supply and carburetion, as well as major work on the braking system, including the replacement of the master cylinder, pipes and hoses, brake pads, bleeding of the system and various associated components. Work was also carried out on the rear suspension arms and wheel alignment. In April 2023, an invoice for €8,923.40 (including VAT) relates in particular to the running gear and braking system, resealing and adjustment of the carburettors, the ignition system, as well as various repairs to the electrical system and its controls. In December 2023, an invoice for €5,860.51 (including VAT) documented work on the windscreen wiper system, the lighting and indicators, the fitting of seat belts, the re-securing of seat mountings and various interior fitting-out works. The heating and ventilation system, the fuel tank and various controls were also serviced. However, the heating and ventilation system still needs to be repaired. A further service is documented in February 2024, covering in particular engine tuning and ignition checks. Finally, in June 2025, an invoice for €2,234.74 (including VAT) details an engine tune-up comprising, in particular, the setting of the ignition timing, adjustment of the air-fuel mixture and richness using a gas analyser, as well as the balancing and synchronisation of the carburettors. Wheel alignment and various repairs relating to the lubrication system were also carried out. The file of invoices will be available for prospective buyers to view prior to the sale. Comments The specialist’s latest invoice, dated June 2025, includes the following comments: - significant wear to the carburettors; - pump flow rate to be checked; - fuel pressure to be checked; - deformed oil pan; - missing rubber mounts. A previous roadworthiness test report provided with the vehicle states a mileage of 23,033 km as at 8 January 2024. The mileage remains unguaranteed. Engine running upon collection.
