A pair of Chinese porcelain famille rose "mandarin" vases(GU) mounted table lamp. Depicting court lady and children in garden. The combination of an antique porcelain with ornate bronze mounts was a common practice in 19th Century France, particularly during the louis xv and louis xvi revival periods. Many such lamps and decorative objects were assembled in the late 19th or early 20th Century, catering to the european taste for exotic and luxurious furnishings. 18/19th Century,Qian-long period. H : 15,5cm (vase). Good condition. few chips.(UV-checked).
