A RARE BRONZE SPEARHEAD, MAO
Eastern Zhou Dynasty, possibly Sichuan
The elongated leaf-shaped blade flanked by a pair of side loops, finely cast on both sides with a stylised taotie mask, the surface with reddish-brown patina with traces of green encrustation.
34.5 cm (13 5/8 in.) long
