A GILT-DECORATED BLACK LACQUER LOW TABLE, KANGJI
Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century
Of rectangular form, the top painted in gold and highlighted in red lacquer with scattered floral sprays, over a recessed waist, the apron and elegant square-section legs terminating in scrolled hoof feet and painted with a meandering floral scroll, all on a black lacquer ground.
35 cm (14 in.) high x 110.5 cm (43 1/2 in.) wide x 58.5 cm (23 in.) deep.
