A LARGE CARVED HONGMU CORNER-LEG TABLE, BANZHUO
Qing Dynasty, 19th century
The panelled top set within a rectangular frame, above a narrow waist and shaped, beaded aprons carved with foliate scrolls, the circular legs carved in the style of a demountable table, joined to the underside by giant's arm braces and terminating in baluster from feet.
79.5 cm (31 1/4 in.) high x 167.5 cm (66 in.) wide x 69 cm (27 1/8 in.) deep
