63. 63W Y FAUTEUIL EN HUANGHUALI, GUANMAOYI Fin de la Dynastie Qing (1644-1911) A HUANGHUALI 'OFFICIAL'S HAT' YOKEBACK ARMCHAIR, GUANMAOYI Late Qing Dynasty With a sweeping crestrail terminating in upturned rounded ends supported by an S-shaped back splat inset with a burlwood panel below a pierced ruyi-shaped medallion and above a shaped cartouche, with paired back rails running through the seat frame to form the back legs, the curved arms supported by S-shaped braces in the middle, and posts curved back into the side panels of the seat with shaped spandrels tongue and grooved into the posts, the wide framed seat with a soft cane mat, all above shaped aprons with beaded edges mitered and half-lapped to the front and back rails over boxed stretchers. 113 cm (44 1/2 in.) high x 68.5 cm (27 in.) wide x 55 cm (21 5/8 in.) deep Provenance: A Danish collection. 清晚期黃花梨官帽椅來源丹麥收藏
