Shoki: 3.3 cm (1 1/4 in.) high, 5.2 cm (2 in.) long; Oni: 2 cm (3/4 in.) high Provenance: Private Collection, Toulon, France (by repute). 木彫根付　鍾馗と鬼銘「龜玉」　19世紀 Compare with a very close example by the same Kigyoku in the Behrens collection, n. 4765, illustrated on a MCI card (p. 324) and in George Lazarnick, Netsuke and Inro Artists, and how read their Signatures, Honolulu, 1982, vol. I, p. 613.
