Doublé de soie abîmée et de coton gratté On y joint un gilet en satin beige également très brodé Insolé, surtout dans le haut du dos; usures. - Complete gentleman’s suit, circa 1780–1790, France. Court coat à la française and breeches; mauve-lilac cut velvet enriched with green highlights, lavishly embroidered in long and short stitch in green and pink tones with rose blossoms and floral clusters, complete with matching embroidered buttons. Lined with damaged silk and brushed cotton. Together with a beige satin waistcoat, also richly embroidered. Sun fading, particularly to the upper back; wear. - Abito maschile completo, circa 1780-1790, Francia. Abito di corte alla francese e culotte a ponte in velluto cesellato malva-lilla con riflessi verdi, riccamente ricamato a punto pieno nei toni del verde e del rosa con motivi di rose e grappoli floreali, completo dei suoi bottoni ricamati coordinati. Foderato in seta danneggiata e cotone garzato. Si aggiunge un gilet in raso beige anch’esso riccamente ricamato. Scoloriture da luce, in particolare nella parte superiore del dorso; usure.
