Interesting cello by Johann Georg THIR, made in Vienna circa 1760-1765; bearing label "Joannes Georgius Thir fecit Viennae Anno 1762." Some restoration on the table and a crack on the back near the soundpost. 751mm. This instrument is more than 100 years old. This instrument comes with a certificate of authenticity from VATELOT RAMPAL (VREXP1) upon request.
