Interesting 18th-century French violin, likely made in Paris in the style of Ouvrard; bearing a Paul Carke 1956 Rotenburg label. Ebony purfling. Various cracks on the table, including a soundpost crack; back joint unglued in parts. 358mm. This instrument is more than 100 years old. This instrument comes with a certificate of authenticity from VATELOT RAMPAL upon request (VREXP1).
