Encrier couvert - Davât
Iran oriental, Khorassan, probablement XIIIe–XIVe siècle
Bronze ou fonte de laiton partiellement incrusté d’argent, de forme cylindrique, à couvercle emboîtant sommé d’un bouton en forme de bulbe. Le corps est orné de deux registres horizontaux d’inscriptions en écriture coufique sur fond d’arabesques foliacées. Trois anneaux permettent de relier le couvercle à la panse par un lien.
