Estimation 60 € - 120 €

Description

Dimensions 60 x 18 cm. Bon etat. Trench sign marking Company Commander Pimouget's headquarters. Unfinished wooden board with stencilled inscription identifying officer Pimouget's company command post. As this exact surname has not been found, it might refer to Captain Pimouguet of the 57th Infantry Regiment, without certainty. A difficult-to-read label on the back suggests it was presented to a lieutenant as a souvenir of ...1916... and possibly mentions 57RI, supporting that hypothesis. 60 x 18 cm. Good condition.
