Tissot Seastar Sonorous, Ref. 40500-3X (Circa 1970s). Tissot Seastar Sonorous alarm wristwatch, circa 1970s, Ref. 40500-3X. Powered by A. Schild’s popular alarm calibre 1475 (manufacturer attribution). Manual-wind alarm with hammer-strike system comparable to JLC Memovox; pressing the crown silences the alarm. Both crowns signed Tissot and original. Great condition; during cataloguing watch and alarm were working. 34.5mm width excluding crowns, 41mm lug-to-lug, 12.5mm depth, 18mm lug width. Comes with its original Tissot buckle. Unable to access the movement as the caseback could not be opened.
