French introduction, dated and signed (illegible). - Memories of a visit to Jehol in the company of Emil Sigmund Fischer (world traveller, architect and author), E. Bock (photographer), a.o. Views of the Imperial Palace, monks, the Chinese New Year celebrations, masked dances and musicians, meal with the Grand Lama of Jehol and a Belgian Catholic missionary. Jehol (actual Chengde), located in Hebei province, is known as the site of the Mountain Resort, a vast imperial garden and palace formerly used by the Qing emperors as summer residence. - Joined: An illustrated promotional travel guide on "Jehol", compiled and published for the General Direction, Manchukou State Railways by the Tientsin Press, 1930s, 20 pp.
