Photo album of Salzburg and surroundings. 18 albumen prints, 9,5 x 15 cm, mounted on cardboard, German captions. - Karl Friedrich Würthle (1820-1902) was a German landscape painter, etcher, steel engraver and photographer. He created a renowned photographic studio with his brother-in-law, the chemist Hermann Spinnhirn, called Würthle & Spinnhirn from 1882 to 1892. The city of Salzburg has a collection of over 6000 glass plate negatives from this studio.
