V). - Second edition, the first of 1789-1794 having been issued only in 60 copies, of this work by the English naturalist Lewin (1747-1795), fellow of the Linnean Society. Illustrated with 336 hand-coloured plates: frontispiece, 335 pl. of birds and 58 pl. of eggs (pl. 15 was never published). With parallel text in English and French. - Ref.
