Nova XVII Provinciarum Inferioris Germaniae descriptio. Engr., c. 43 x 56 cm, some details hand-coloured (sl. age-toned). - Fourth and final state (with 3 cracks in the copperplate as mentioned in the literature) of this very rare carte-à-figures map of the Low Countries. Originally published by P. van den Keere in 1607, de Wit acquired the copperplate during the second half of the 17th c. He replaced the very large title cartouche with a smaller composition and one of the views. - Ref. Schilder MCN VI:51.4.
