"Ruines d'Angkor". 4to obl.: c. 200 toned collotype plates, captions in French and English, undated, 207 pp., Braun & Cie Imprimeur. - First edition presenting the temples of the Angkor complex, as they were seen by archaeologists and travellers of the time (terraces, columns, galleries, bas-reliefs of Angkor Wat, views of the Bayon, gates of Angkor Thom, temples, statues...). 2 volumes containing the same plates (in different tones). Fernand Nadal was born in Algeria and worked in Saïgon from 1920 to 1940 where he had a photo studio. Introduction by G.H. Monod (2 pp.).
